Allegheny County has more than 1,700 bridges, 720 within city limits, and 15 major bridges crossing downtown Pittsburgh alone.

As you can imagine, my office receives hundreds of e-mails, letters, faxes and phone calls a day. Due to the volume of communications, I give priority to those individuals who reside in the 42nd District. It is both custom and courtesy to allow the Senator in whose district you reside to respond to some communications and so I will also forward such requests accordingly.
