HARRISBURG, October 28, 2016 – State Sen. Wayne D. Fontana today announced a $1 million state grant for site development at the Regional Industrial Development Corporation’s 14-acre Lawrenceville Technology Center.

“These Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) funds will be used for land development, infrastructure improvements, building development and to construct a parking garage,” Fontana said.

“The Lawrenceville Tech Center has already been a success story with biotech and robotics businesses flourishing. These funds will help accommodate additional business interest, expansion, investment and jobs.”

The RACP program is used for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects. Qualifying projects have a regional or multi-jurisdictional impact, help create or maintain jobs, and generate economic activity.
